Versioning Stable ISO releases

Wouldn't  it be better to have a version control for iso images as well - at
least for stable releases, with a weekly-build to start with ? For people
without online internet connection, wouldn't such a feature be beneficial ?
The main page can promote the latest one incorporating the latest bug fixes
and security patches. Just a thought. (Old ones can be archived, for those
who may need to refresh their systems..)
