I don't know what HP sells these days but I have an HP S20 Smartphoto scanner 
that will accept   35mm slides (in frames), 35mm film strips,  and prints up 
to 5x7.  The 35mm can be negatives or not.  I've had it at least 8 years and 
it still works well.

You might check on eBay for one.
