Scanning app 'vuescan' for Linux - has anyone installed/used it?

Open terminal. and cd to the VueScan

john at john-desktop:~$ cd VueScan

Make sure VueScan is executable, use sudo just in case

john at john-desktop:~/ VueScan$ sudo chmod +x vuescan

Try to launch vuescan usong ./

john at john-desktop:~/ VueScan$./vuescan

What is the output?
