Keyboard repeat delay issue

Hi,

I'm under KDE 4.3.2 but I'm having this problem for a while now.

- my Keyboard repeat 'delay' is set to 220 and the rate is 25.00.
That's how I like it and it's been like that since forever.
- for the last few weeks (I'd say about 4 weeks now), every time I
startup my machine, I have to go into "Settings -> Keyboard & Mouse ->
Keyboard" and then click on the little arrow beside the keyboard 'delay'
field value to go from 220 to 270 and then back to 220 and then click
'Apply' for the delay to be (or to 'feel') 220 again. This means that
the Settings interface displays properly the delay of 220 as I always do
set it up at each re-install of my machine.
- if I unplug my keyboard (USB) and re-plug it again, I have the same
problem, KDE seems to take some kind of 'standard' setup and ignore my
keyboard 'delay' of 220.

Does anybody know what's going on here ?

Thank you for your help,
Laurent
