It has to be something like that. Alas, there is no utility built in to
compress or repair the database. You know what? I miss PCfile. Ran in ab
ascii screen with DOS. Two colors, black and amber. It could
compress/pack the database. So could dBaseII under CP/M. 

Gene will probably jump up and claim his abacus could repair the
database. Never get in an old-iron contest with that man. He taught Von
Neuman how to temper the springs. Everyone say Happy Birthday to Gene.
