Hello,
I want to prevent openoffice from upgrading. Frankly, I rarely use it and it
want to chew 92mb of my bandwidth. I am dimly aware that there is a subject
called 'pinning' -- is that a way I can tell aptitude to ignore this update?
Here's the stuff it want to upgrade:
The following packages will be upgraded:
libsmbclient libwbclient0 openoffice.org-base-core openoffice.org-calc
openoffice.org-common openoffice.org-core
openoffice.org-draw openoffice.org-emailmerge openoffice.org-gnome openoffice.org-
gtk openoffice.org-impress
openoffice.org-java-common openoffice.org-kde openoffice.org-math openoffice.org-
style-crystal openoffice.org-style-human
openoffice.org-writer python-uno samba-common smbclient ttf-opensymbol uno-
libs3 ure winbind
24 packages upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Need to get 91.9MB of archives. After unpacking 20.5kB will be used.
So, how can I put all that aside and let other updates continue normally?
Just to clarify, I want to wipe and reinstall Karmik when it comes out (32 bit
this time, 64 has been hell) so I don't really care about openoffice right now.
