i386 & i586

For i586 you need a Pentium 1 CPU or newer. The first i686 was Pentium
Pro then replaced by Pentium 2 and Pentium 3. Pentium 4 is not based
on the "P6" architecture but Netburst that later was replaced by the
Core architecture which is more directly derived from Pentium Pro than
it is from NetBurst (i think).
