kopete and yahoo question

I have a yahoo messenger account that behaves odd in Kopete 0.80, 
Kubuntu 9.10 and KDE 4.3.3.

Every time I connect I get the message that I can not add my own 
accounts to the contact list and then some 5-6 messages regarding users 
that have added me to their list.

Note that it is the same users every time and whether I add, authorise 
or delete them from Kopete the messages reappear next time I connect.

I have found nothing on internet regarding this, anyone recognise it and 
can verify it is  a bug or a design thing or some oddity with my 
computer or account?
