No? It should just play through. Perhaps you need to fiddle with the inputs in
the kmix dialogue. Also, perhaps you need to fool it into 'recording' in order
to hear the input. Not sure what app -- perhaps that KDE sound recording tool
could do the job - record to dev/null or something. Sorry, the more I type the
less I realize I know about it :)
