Gwenview & printing Landscape

It should work as you expected.

Is the map you tried to print available online so that I can give it a try?

Can you try printing to the PDF printer and see if you get the same problem? If 
it works correctly with the PDF printer, then you may want to have a look at the 
printer settings.
