We're not losing sight of the big picture, so much as trying to recall the 
details of a big picture that has faded a great deal over the years :-)  
Sorry I can't be more help, but the greatest pool of Ubuntu users (at least 
on this list) from Europe and North America, tend not to be using dialup 
anymore.
