Doc,
I guess this might be worth a try.
Remove and *purge* firefox.
Rename your .mozilla in your home to say, .mozilla_old
Install firefox (making sure it comes from the repository and not your
old /var/apt/cache, ie., make sure it is downloaded again.
When installed, check under about:plugins, icedtea and flash with
filename npwrapper.libflashplugin.so is there.
Check if javascript is enabled, advanced and check the boxes.
Go to your page in lulu.com and see if it appears. If it does and it
works, move back your settings (bookmarks, addons) from .mozilla_old to
the new .mozilla
To all those out on the list who lost track and may help, this is a
summary.....
Doc has flash installed in firefox and javascript too.
(Verified in about:plugins)

He also enabled javascript and checked the advanced enabled section.

Doc, give it a day or two before you remove and purge firefox;
Maybe there's somebody out there whose firefox 'fu' is much better.
If there is silence again, I think it is because we are all stumped and
not because we are not willing to help.
Good luck.
I am writing this below as I think we all scroll down to look at messages..
Somebody please help here.... Doc (and I) needs help.
