System Update

My KpackageKit will not update.  Get an error message "Message did not
receive  reply (timeout by message bus)

 

I have a super fast Internet connect, no extra firewalling, no proxy,
straight up stuff!!!

 

Any ideas?   Version KDE 4.2.2
