KDE4.3 beta issues

Well, actually it wasn't.  Kubuntu 8.10 came with KDE 4.1 - which was miles 
beyond 4.0.

However, KDE4.1 was hardly beta quality, and millions of Kubuntu users have 
asked the same question about it, and we've had no satisfactory answers.
