Well, I hate that too, but it's only been every _major_ version (KDE2, KDE3, 
and KDE3.5 - which despite the .5 was definitely a major version: many devs 
wanted to call it KDE4, but then they'd have had to push back stuff promised 
for 4 to version 5).
