Yes, Alan, you've got a point.
Taking just this as an example....

LABEL=Volt none ext4 defaults 0 2

If I change it to

LABEL=Volt /mnt/Volt ext4 defaults 0 2

and I have earlier done >> mkdir /mnt/Volt

then firing up Jaunty will have my 'Volt' partition mounted.

Another point though......
I cannot unmount it or remount it at Dolphin with a click as we could 
have done before. I still have to manually unmount or remount at terminal.
sudo umount /dev/sda9 /mnt/Volt
sudo mount /dev/sda9 /mnt/Volt

I think Kde 4.3 beta has unfinished HAL issues.
