No, I wouldn't expect those to work.

I've never used lightscribe, but I did see once upon a time that it was only 
available as an rpm file.

But the world has now moved on and it is now available in .deb format:-

Looks like you need to do it in two steps - first install the so-called system 
software, then the labelling application.

Let us know if it works - I've also got a lightscribe burner but no suitable 
media.
