well, this thread is going on for eight days, now. I just understood 
that you still are unable to "really" use the printer.

Just for me turboprint is a proven solution to make Canon printers work. 
I use it all the time and exclusively, when it comes to Canon.

But surely, it is entirely up to you what you do.
