umtsmon crashes with segmentation fault

Hi list,

after upgrading to 9.04, the umtsmon on my kubuntu crashes with "Segmentation fault".
I've tried it with any known version of umtsmon, but anyone crashes with the same
error after startup and entering the sudo-password.

While trying with root, umtsmon works fine.

Is there any solution ?
