It's not as difficult as it seems, just keep one discussion thread by
addressing people directly in #kubuntu, so you get highlighted when
you are concerned. I usually tend to 'close eyes' on the other threads
and it seems my way of filtering works for a lot of people.

Sometimes just reading a few such addressed threads of others helps to
get the 'filter' adjusted. Just don't try to read everything, this can
be sometimes just too much information. Also, we try to 'discipline'
people as much as possible to avoid OT and channel overload.

And no one has to type fast, we try to adjust to the speed of the user :)

A slower mode than IRC and even this mailing list would be to use a forum:
