That is not how hardware virtualization works.  The virtual machines
do not actually "use" the hardware directly.  It is just a layer of
abstraction between the host / guest OSes.

Because of VMWare's "graphics card" limitations (16MB RAM, last I
recall), if you *do* get OpenGL to work, it will most probably perform
poorly.
