Kubuntu 9.04 Beta is unusable for some users. Get in there and test it!

Just another note, Willie.  I think the driver for the 7000 series is 
the 177 driver.  If you check, I don't think the 180.37 is for anything 
but 8000 series and higher.  If you are having trouble, the 177 might be 
your answer.
