Alpha (or Beta) versions are not meant for 'production' and you are not to yell that something breaks. Hopefully, you can file bug reports if you noticed something wrong that nobody else has filed reports for. (Usually, they are taken care of by people better than us)

Thanks so much for this email. I am in one of those times right now. I
updated yesterday and lost my video completely. I have been installing
the updates without selection, because of my limited abilities. As a
result, while downloading I noticed something being downloaded that I
did not want; the result is my current problem. I use the nVidia 180.37
drivers. They worked perfectly in my application. When I noticed an
additional update, I really did not want to try to fix something that
worked perfectly, but because I chose to install them all, it happened
before I could stop it. The update to the drivers screwed up my GUI. I
only have the shell to work with now. Am I supposed to not ask for help
when in Jaunty? It too was recommended from someone from the list. He
said it worked stable and was far improved from Intrepid. I noticed
that too. Until this glitch, it has been my best experience with
Kubuntu from Jaunty back to Feisty. I can't wait to get it back.
In fact to make this email, I had to make the computer I am using out of
scrap parts to get email. My new computer can only be operated in
/root. The only reason I installed is because my new computer is a Quad
core 64bit, and it has 8gb of memory. Jaunty is the first to deal with
that issue effectively. Additionally I thought it a good step for
learning. The problems I would face should help me learn. Thanks for
the help.
Steven
