Yeah - that can happen if the link is not to an actual file, but to another 
page that actually sends the file. In this case, follow the link normally in 
FF and when the save_as dialog comes up tell it to open_with -> then 
choose /usr/bin/kget in the next dialogue (you have to navigate there 
manually) and it should be good.
