restarting X server

ok, so with ctrl+alt+backspace disabled in Jaunty, how am i supposed
to kill my X server if it acted up? there are many times when it's
just unbearable, and my only option is to quickly kill it. i can log
in on a TTY and restart kdm, but sometimes, even this becomes
impossible.
