I need write access to local disks in Dolphin (both installed and LiveCD)

I mentioned this much earlier when I upgraded Jaunty to kde 4.3 beta in
Jaunty. I am using cli to mount the partitions, and yes, fstab can
handle this as well.
Is this happening now on kde 4.2.3 or kde 4.2.4?
It may be worthwhile to look at this before we file bug reports.
