Thanks for the advice. I have it working now. One of our members made a
script that makes the install a no brainer.
About Bible Time, it is a great application, but I have been using e-Sword for
years and use many of its features all the time. To change would end years of
research and work. Bibletime does not have the extras.
If you watched how I use the program, you would understand why it is important
for me.
I am color coding all the similar occurrences in the Bible. If you wanted to
see the record of actual miracles, you could leaf through my edition and look
for a particular color and see every occasion of the event happening.
If you wanted to know where GOD appeared visibly, you could look for another
color. Strangely enough when reading for enjoyment the many color do not
interfere, they do put you on point in every read. You will always recognize
the miracle for what it is. Or if you want to separate what an angel says on
behalf of GOD, you can find them all by the color used. Everything directly
related to satan has its color, so you can pay attention at that point.
It is a fun thing that I have been doing. I find that it keeps me focused on
more of the detail of the scripture as I read, because these color reminders
bring out things I may have passed over in a casual read. Anyway, that is the
reason. Oh. The last time I checked, the Good News Bible was not in the
Bibletime version. That is the one I am reading from right now. It is fun to
read the Bible in our current conversational language.
Peace be with you too, brother,
Steven
