Please, all, stop that thread, it is far from helpful to Steven and
only adds more confusion. We all know it is not a virus so discussing
about antivirus software is totally pointless in a thread where we are
supposed to help him.

Also, if you really want to be helpful, do serious support only and
keep in mind that not everybody is an advanced user. Advice to
beginners should be at a beginners level, because we all have seen
what happens if somebody makes changes to his system without
understanding what he is doing.

Also, please, keep in mind that the forum at
http://www.kubuntuforums.net is much more useful for that sort of
support as all threads and history is available and searchable on a
web platform even to beginners. Not everybody knows how to search a
mailing list...

I f you want to continue discussion about the need of antivirus
software on Linux then please change the subject
