That's fine, I know exactly how frustrated you must have been!

When the Karmic betas come out, though, please take the time to
install a test system and confirm / deny any issues. You will be in a
world of hurt if the bugs persist when KDE 3 is discontinued, and the
only way to make sure that they won't is to file them. *buntu
generally ignores bugs, it's a shame, but KDE is very responsive to
bugs.
