Further to Mark Greenwood's suggestion....

> try 'mount /media/cdrom' or 'mount /dev/scd0'

If it doesn't work, try this ....

sudo mkdir /mnt/Cdrom

then each time you want to mount cdrom......

sudo mount /dev/sdc0 /mnt/Cdrom


I am suggesting this without having this problem, so if this doesn't 
work, sorry.
