Me neither.  Firefox and Konqueror both work perfectly.  I have never
had any problem with this on Linux.

That page Mike linked only says that the Flash version may not work on
Linux.  But Flash isn't at all necessary, and for me, Gmail seems to
disable the Flash version automatically.

So I don't know what problem Ray is having, but it isn't a general Linux
issue.
