RESOLVED: 4 updates held back for 3 weeks...

Thank you all; Eberhard, Mr. Sinclair, Derek, Nigel and Willy :o)

I assume that any update from the standard update repositories 
(jaunty-updates and jaunty-security) is published to fix some sort of 
problem.

Since dist-upgrade does not change Ubuntu versions, and since I update 
daily, to keep my workstation as bug free and secure as possible, it 
seems I should just "apt-get dist-upgrade" after "apt-get update" and 
"apt-get upgrade".
