I tend to agree that you might run into difficulties for you to try
Karmic at this point. For one, you will not be able to boot into
anything, including jaunty (even in separate partition and multi-boot)
unless you modify the grub2 menu.
Having said that, I think it is still dangerous to 'update' to kde 4.3
rc in jaunty itself.
Sorry my earlier message doesn't come with warning. I have a bad habit
of keeping my opinions to myself. You ask a Q, I give an A. Should have
