Hi there,
I have kubuntu 8.04
I was wondering why my HDD was filling up over time until it completely
fill up my HDD. it turns out that Strigi literally put 170GB of files in
the ./strigi/clucene folder. Strigi deamon take about 80% of my CPU time.
It is a known problem apparently and Strigi bug seems to be taking care
of (work in progress)
Meanwhile , what is the best way to have Strigi working or removed ?
The strange thing is that I have Kubuntu installed on two PC, Strigi is
install on both , but it only work (the deamon) on one PC. I don't
remember having turn explicitly Strigi on in one of them , how come one
Kubuntu 8.04 PC is runing Strigi and not the other one ?

Thanks of any help

Chris
