How do I install a .bin. I downloaded a Java plugin needed to run some tests by the isp.

Try man most.  Basically, it can be used anytime more or less can be.  E.g.:

most foo.txt

or

command_with_lots_of_output | most

When most is running, you can type h too get online help

It's a console program, so it's not on the kmenu.
