My laptop has a switch on it which turns off the wifi, so do my office
people's laptops and also the printer. Is this not a normal practice? I
actually turn off the wifi on my laptop to save battery life when it isn't in
use. My battery only lasts about five hours without recharging so I carry
another charged battery for my laptop in case and of course invested in an
automobile charger so I can plug the laptop in while driving from place to
place.
