How do I join two .rar folders?

It looks like he might have gotten this off of a Usenet newsgroup or 
something, or that the original upload was through Usenet.  The rar file 
format is often used there because it can handle multiple archives 
easily and there is a limit to how large a file you can upload as any 
one article on some Usenet servers.  So it's being used more for it's 
ability to package a bunch of files together and to split them over 
multiple files than it is for it's compression ability.
