Is "Content Link" something any of you recognizes?

There is no contradiction between the advantages of plain text email
and GUI usage. It is more of an accessibility issue than a
technological preference. It is also considered manners on *nix
mailing lists not to use HTML mail, not to top post, and all that.

Nope, you are fine, the problem is with my (known broken) email
client! Carry on! The message was _both_ HTML and plain text. My mail
client should be able to handle the plain text part. ("should" being
the operative word: it should, but it doesn't)
