How do I activate my sdb5 partition and have it stay active continually.

> $ sudo gedit /etc/fstab
Since I use KDE, I changed gedit to kedit after installing the package.  Then 
I edited the changes you suggested, and as you expected, sda5 remained 
enabled.  Although I can use the subfolder, I still cannot use sdb5 for 
storage.  I wonder why?
