ATI x1300 - Cannot activate proprietary driver

A little precision :
When I started with kubuntu and xpress 1200 and higher, drivers were 
quiet difficult to install. But now it's much easier and i prefer the 
jockey option as I fear with envyng one might to have to do it each 
kernel update ? (but maybe now it's no more the case ?)
envyng works fine and jockey too µ... so lucky we are !
