ATI x1300 - Cannot activate proprietary driver

I tried the fllrx driver, but it gave no better results for me. You do realise 
that you have to be online, as the fglrx driver needs to be downloaded from 
wherever, before it can be installed. having been downloaded, and installed, 
"Hardware Drivers" should then show it as activated.

Just a thought, and perhaps you were online, but something isn't working as it 
should.
