Were Intrepid updates the reason I lost my sound on the Intrepid partition?

I found the bug report place by clicking on help.  Then I just followed 
instructions.  When they showed a box for the bug report number it was empty 
and preceded the report.  I never noticed another bug report number.  Is that 
something they send to you or did I just miss it?
