kdeaccessibility in Kubuntu 8.04 with KDE 4.2 PPA

I have installed KDE 4.2 in Kubuntu 8.10, however, I need the "Show
Keyboard Status" indicator plasmoid. This bug implies that it would be
found in the package kdeaccessibility:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdeaccessibility/+bug/289440

I do have that package installed, however, the plasmoid is not there.
Is it available only in Jaunty? I see that the bug mentions Jaunty,
but doesn't the KDE 4.2 PPA use the Jaunty components for KDE?
