9.04: is KDE 4.2 ever making it to 8.10?

Perhaps this was updated in the last couple of days.  Last week at work, 
where I have a Kubuntu 8.10 box for testing, I could not get kdepim to 
run for more than a minute without a crash.  When I checked with the 
kdepim list, I learned that it was a known problem with 4.1.96 that was 
fixed with 4.2.  I checked and sure enough, I was using 4.1.96.  I 
haven't checked since Wednesday or Thursday.  I will check on Monday.
