First I need a shell to execute that in, and I need a keyboard. In x, I have
neither, and I don't seem to be able to find /etc/inittab so I can use the
console to do that. Once I have that, I expect I can rescue the rest of it.

I'd hate to have to re-install as I now have about 6 hours in downloading
and installing the other stuff I need. I have a single option I believe, or
I can add it manually from this F10 boot, would that do?
