I have a Brother HL-5040 (any HL-XXXX will do) and it work super.
I instaled many HL-XXXX (differents codes) from Brother, and all
worked perfectly, full time, anytime, and a long long time.
(mine is 5 years old, and work today as the first day,
after more than 10,000 copies (2 toners +))
costs 200$ aprox and toners for 5000 copies is 80$ aprox.
interfaces are parallel + usb.
