kpackagekit

i alreadt have it installed;
the problem is that it crashes every time i try to run it.

i noticed that one of the problem i got was reported in launchpad, and many
other people reported the problem.

now i'm getting another problem: i try to view 'Software Updates' and it
just closes. terminal output:

Error, cannot create transaction proxy
empty tid, the daemon is probably not here anymore

it's weird.
