It also contains the posts by thread, date and author.
You can also search it using google: For instance:
vollom "sources.list" site:lists.ubuntu.com/archives/kubuntu-users/
will return links to posts with your last name in the post and the phrase
sources.list. There are about 40 of these.
To do this you need the phrase: "site:lists.ubuntu.com/archives/kubuntu-
users/" in the google search field, as well as the phrases that you are
searching for.
You can also download the archives which are in mbox format and import them
into kmail which has better searching and sorting capabilities.
Seriously there is no reason for you to be losing or missing emails here.
