Jaunty, Java and map24

Map24 works fine here on  FF 3.5  and Jaunty.   I don't recall having to do 
anything out of the ordinary to install Java...  it just worked.  (which I 
know doesn't help you one bit)

Is there something I can look at and tell you the information to compare 
installs?
