This is due to the fact that not more than 4 desktops are set in a
basic installation.
Go to SystemSettings -> Keyboard & Mouse -> Global Keyboard Shortcuts,
and choose the KDE component Kwin.
You can set your shortcuts there, but keep in mind that it's non
unlikely that those have already been assigned elsewhere, so you will
have to reassign the default settings.
